Can a movie under 90 minutes, that is all about making you feel like you're watching one of the most awkward interactions ever take place, be one of the best films in 2021(so far)? Maybe, maybe not.

Rachel Sennot plays Danielle, who feels the walls closing in through a situation that she put herself in, and we the audience get to experience the joy of her feeling incredibly uncomfortable; and my god is it entertaining.

Anthony Hopkins, pardon me SIR Anthony Hopkins is now a 2 time Oscar Winner, so of course we have to talk about the film that makes him now the oldest best actor winner.

Hopkins stars as the main character Anthony(go figure) who is defiantly rejecting anything that his daughter, Colman's Anne is telling him; and the more he continues to reject his daughter the more that his grip on reality is unraveling. How both these characters respond to Anthony's decline is incredible to watch, and well worth discussing.

Since Reno celebrates Pride in July, I'm going to try and get a few more pride reviews done before we hit August, but this is a review of a 2022 film that was HORIRBLY slept on. It's a damn shame because Gabrielle Union gives the performance of her career, Jeremy Pope is a young person who is on the come up, and Elegance Bratton is a director truly to keep an eye out on.

I don't even want to tell you too much of a synopsis on this film outside of Jeremy Pope plays a young man who joins the service to make something of himself, but please go into this movie as blind as possible.

Laurel Parmet makes her directorial debut with The Starling Girl, starring Eliza Scanlen, who plays our main character Jem. Jem is a 17 year old girl, starting to feel guilt over her hormones and impure thoughts, which leads to an affair with a youth pastor in Owen, played by Lewis Pullman.

Did we really need a remake of this movie?

Look, I just learned who Jack Harlow was like a month ago, but filling Woody Harrelson's shoes are a big ask for anyone, let alone....Jack Harlow.

A re-imagining(or at this movie would say a remix) of the 1992 film, we get Sinqua Walls and the aforementioned Jack Harlow stepping into the Wesley Snipes/Woody Harrelson roles as two basketball players, who are addicted to gambling trying to hustle to achieve their dreams. How does this..........remix measure up to the 1992 original film, or heck is this version even good?
